dipb2b Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of dipB2B, including the Backpack Program by dipB2B, the dipB2B dashboard, offer listing tools, student offer campaigns, performance analytics, lead exports, push notification targeting and related business-facing services.

By creating a dipB2B account, submitting an offer, proceeding to payment, purchasing a plan, accessing leads, exporting lead data or using any dipB2B service, you agree to these Terms.

These Terms apply only to dipB2B and the Backpack Program. Use of the student-facing dip app is governed by separate dip terms, privacy policy and community standards.

2. About dipB2B and the Backpack Program

dipB2B helps businesses advertise offers, events and student experiences directly inside dip, where college students discover what to do, where to go and what to try next.

The Backpack Program may include:

  • Student offer listings

  • Campus feed visibility

  • Push notification targeting

  • Performance analytics

  • Offer clicks, views and copies tracking

  • Soft intent leads

  • Hard leads

  • Lead export as CSV or XLSX

  • Offer review and listing management

  • Other digital advertising and lead-generation features

The exact features available may depend on the plan, payment status, approval status, location, category, inventory and platform availability.

3. Eligibility

You may use dipB2B only if:

  • You are at least 18 years old.

  • You are authorised to represent the business, brand, agency, organisation or advertiser.

  • The information you submit is true and accurate.

  • Your business, offer and campaign are lawful.

  • You agree to use student data only for the specific offer or campaign purpose.

We may request verification documents such as business proof, GSTIN, PAN, CIN, shop licence, FSSAI licence, authorisation letter or other category-specific documents before approving or continuing a campaign.

4. Business Account

You are responsible for all activity under your dipB2B account.

You must keep your phone number, business email, business name, owner name, CIN/GST details, website URL, address and other profile information accurate and updated.

You must not use fake, misleading, incomplete or unauthorised business details.

We may suspend, reject, restrict or delete an account if the business information appears false, unsafe, misleading or non-compliant.

5. WhatsApp OTP Login

dipB2B may use WhatsApp OTP or another OTP method to verify access to your business account.

By entering your phone number, you agree to receive OTP and essential account-related messages.

You are responsible for maintaining access to the registered number.

6. Creating Student Offers

Businesses may create student-facing offers by submitting details such as:

  • Offer image

  • Brand logo

  • Offer title

  • Offer details

  • Brand name

  • Offer link

  • Flat discount

  • Percentage discount

  • Call-to-action button

  • Offer terms and conditions

  • How to use or redeem the offer

  • Target student types for boosted push notifications

  • Other campaign information

You are responsible for making sure every offer is accurate, lawful, genuine and capable of being honoured.

7. Offer Review and Approval

Every offer may be reviewed before going live.

We may approve, reject, pause, edit, remove or request changes to an offer if it:

  • Contains misleading information

  • Has unclear terms

  • Uses prohibited or unsafe content

  • Violates law or platform policies

  • Uses unauthorised logos/images

  • Makes unsupported claims

  • Is unsuitable for students

  • Creates risk for dip, dipB2B, students or partners

If an offer is rejected, you may edit and resubmit it for review. Rejection does not automatically create a refund unless stated in the Cancellation and Refund Policy.

8. Offer Duration

Unless otherwise stated, an approved offer may remain live for 30 days from approval or activation.

You may be able to edit or manage listings from the “Manage Listings” section, subject to review and platform rules.

9. Push Notification Targeting

Your offer may be visible to a general student audience.

Student-type targeting, such as Gamer, Bookworm, Athlete, Artist, Techie, Foodie, Fashionista, Entrepreneur, Fitness Enthusiast, Introverted, Extroverted and similar tags, may be used only if you boost the offer through push notifications or if such targeting is available in your plan.

Push notification delivery is not guaranteed to every selected student type. Delivery may depend on user permissions, device settings, network conditions, operating-system restrictions, user activity and platform limits.

10. Performance Analytics

dipB2B may provide analytics such as:

  • Views: students who viewed the offer

  • Offer Clicks: students who opened the offer

  • Copies: students who pressed the selected button, copied a code or used a CTA

  • Soft Intent Leads

  • Hard Leads

  • Graphs and campaign trends

Analytics are provided for business insight and may not be perfectly real-time or error-free.

We do not guarantee any fixed number of views, clicks, copies, leads, conversions, sales, redemptions,
walk-ins or revenue.

11. Soft Intent Leads

A Soft Intent Lead means a student who opened or viewed your offer.

Soft Intent Leads indicate interest but do not guarantee that the student wants to purchase, redeem, contact you or be contacted aggressively.

You must use Soft Intent Lead information carefully and only in accordance with the consent shown to the student and the Lead Use Policy.

12. Hard Leads

A Hard Lead means a student who took a stronger action, such as pressing “Copy Code”, “Claim Offer”, “Open Link” or another selected call-to-action button.

Hard Leads may be more commercially valuable, but they still do not guarantee a sale, visit, conversion, response or redemption.

13. Lead Export

dipB2B may allow businesses to export lead information as CSV or XLSX files.

Once you export lead data, you are responsible for securing the file, restricting access, preventing misuse and deleting it when no longer needed.

You must not sell, rent, transfer, upload, resell, scrape, combine or use student lead data for unrelated marketing.

14. Student Data Sharing

Student data is not shared merely because a student sees an offer.

Student data may be shared with the advertiser only when the student performs an action such as opening, claiming, copying, unlocking, submitting, confirming or otherwise engaging with the offer, depending on the product flow and consent screen.

Before data is shared, the student should be shown the advertiser name, purpose and fields being shared.

You may use the data only for the specific offer, campaign or student request.

15. Advertiser Responsibilities

You agree that:

  • Your offer is genuine.

  • You will honour the offer as shown.

Certain dipB2B services are paid.

Payments may be processed through Razorpay or another authorised payment gateway.

20. Subscription Status

Your listing or subscription may show statuses such as:

  • Pending

  • Under Review

  • Live

  • Rejected

  • Cancelled

  • Expired

A payment does not guarantee that an offer will go live if the offer violates dipB2B rules or requires changes.

In general, refunds are not provided once:

  • The subscription is activated

You confirm that you have the rights required to submit and use such content.

24. No College Endorsement

This includes loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity, expected leads, expected conversions, expected sales, data, reputation or campaign performance.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of ByteCitadel Private Limited for any claim related to dipB2B, the Backpack Program, any offer, campaign, subscription, payment, lead, analytics or service shall not exceed ₹1,000.

This cap does not reduce a refund expressly approved under the Cancellation and Refund Policy or any liability that cannot legally be limited.

27. No Personal Liability

Any claim related to dipB2B must be brought against ByteCitadel Private Limited and not personally against its founders, directors, shareholders, employees, contractors, investors, advisors or representatives.

No such individual is personally liable merely because of their role with ByteCitadel Private Limited.
